Privacy Policy

How View Passion Co., Ltd. collects, uses, shares, and protects personal data across our games, websites, stores, advertising, and business relationships — one transparent policy for players, business clients, advertising partners, publishers, creators, and investors.

Last updated · 23 June 2026 · applies studio-wide

This Privacy Policy explains how View Passion Co., Ltd. ("View Passion", "we", "us") collects, uses, shares, and protects personal data across all of our games (including Cat vs Cucumber), our studio and game websites, our stores and community features, our advertising and user-acquisition activity, and our business relationships with clients, publishers, advertisers, creators, vendors, and investors. It is the central reference for how data is handled across our studio.

Cat vs Cucumber & every View Passion title. This is our central, studio-wide policy and it applies to all of our games, including Cat vs Cucumber.

01Who we are & our role

View Passion Co., Ltd., 68/5 Anusorn Prasert Rd, Sai Ma, Mueang Nonthaburi District, Nonthaburi 11000, Thailand. General & data requests: info@viewpassion.com · Game support: catvscucumber@viewpassion.com.

For our own games and sites we act as the data controller. When we develop, operate, or run user-acquisition for a game on behalf of a client or publisher, we typically act as a data processor under that partner's instructions and a separate Data Processing Agreement (DPA); in that case the client/publisher is the controller and their privacy policy governs end-user data.

02Scope

  • Our mobile games and their in-game stores, events, and campaigns.
  • Our studio website and game websites.
  • Community features — leaderboards, social logins, support, and social media.
  • Advertising, marketing, measurement, and user-acquisition (incl. third-party ad networks, analytics & attribution SDKs).
  • Business dealings with clients, publishers, advertisers, creators, suppliers, and investors.

03Information we collect

A. From players — profile name/photo and social login info (Google, Apple, Facebook) where used; support messages; device data (model, OS, language, time zone); advertising IDs (IDFA, GAID), IP address and country; gameplay and session data; purchase records; crash and performance logs.

B. From business & professional contacts (B2B, publishers, advertisers, creators, investors, vendors) — name, role, and company; business email and phone; contractual, billing, and tax details; correspondence and meeting notes; and, for investor relations, information reasonably required for due diligence and reporting.

C. Advertising & UA data — device/advertising identifiers, ad impressions and engagement, attribution and install source, and aggregated audience signals, received from or shared with our measurement and ad partners.

D. From third parties — analytics & attribution tools, ad networks, and app platforms (Google Play, Apple App Store), including install source, device metrics, and crash reports.

04How we use information

  • Operate, maintain, secure, and improve our games and services, and save progress and purchases.
  • Personalize experiences and deliver, target, cap, and measure advertising and promotions.
  • Analyze behavior and performance to improve game design and marketing.
  • Deliver B2B services and manage contracts, billing, publishing, and co-marketing with partners.
  • Provide support, prevent fraud and cheating, and enforce fair play.
  • Manage investor relations, corporate reporting, and legal/accounting obligations.

05Legal bases (GDPR / UK GDPR / PDPA)

Where the GDPR, UK GDPR, or Thailand's PDPA applies, we rely on: consent (e.g., personalized ads and non-essential cookies); performance of a contract (running your account, B2B service delivery); legitimate interests (security, analytics, measurement, B2B relationship management, protecting our business); and legal obligation (tax, accounting, compliance). You may withdraw consent at any time.

06Advertising, analytics & user acquisition

To deliver and measure advertising and grow our games, we work with trusted partners that may use cookies, SDKs, and identifiers. These typically include Google Ads & AdMob, Google Firebase/GA4, Meta (Facebook) Ads, TikTok for Business, Unity Ads, AppLovin/ironSource, Liftoff, Singular, Adjust, and AppsFlyer. This section also serves as our standing disclosure of the SDKs and tracking technologies used in our apps and sites for ad-platform and store review purposes.

Manage interest-based ads: Android — Settings > Google > Ads; iOS — Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking. Where applicable we honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal.

07Cookies & similar technologies

We and our partners use cookies, SDKs, pixels, and local storage to run, secure, measure, and personalize our games and websites. See our Cookie Policy for the full list of categories, tools, and controls.

08How we share data

  • Service providers / processors — hosting, analytics, support, payments, and advertising, under contract.
  • Advertising & measurement partners — to deliver and measure campaigns.
  • Publishers & co-development partners — under written agreements and DPAs where applicable.
  • App platforms — Apple and Google for distribution, billing, and crash reporting.
  • Corporate transactions — in a merger, acquisition, financing, or due-diligence process, under confidentiality.
  • Legal authorities — where required by law or to protect our rights and users.

We never sell your personal data. Under California law (CCPA/CPRA) we do not "sell" or "share" personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising without an opt-out, which we honor.

09International transfers

We operate globally, so data may be processed outside your country, including in countries that may not offer the same level of protection. Where required we use appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses.

10Data retention

We keep personal data only as long as needed to provide our services, meet legal/accounting obligations, and resolve disputes. Inactive player data may be anonymized or deleted over time; business records are retained per legal requirements.

11Security

We apply industry-standard technical and organizational measures, including encryption in transit and access controls. No system is perfectly secure; please play safely and report suspicious activity.

12Children’s privacy

Our games are not directed to children under 13 (or 16 in the EU/UK where applicable). We do not knowingly collect their data, we age-gate where required, and we do not serve personalized ads to known children. If you believe a child provided data, contact us and we will delete it promptly.

13Your privacy rights

Subject to your jurisdiction — including the EU/UK GDPR, California CCPA/CPRA, Thailand’s PDPA, and other applicable laws — you may have some or all of the following rights:

  • Access — request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
  • Rectification — ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
  • Erasure — ask us to delete your data where there is no overriding reason to keep it.
  • Restriction — ask us to limit how we process your data.
  • Portability — receive your data in a portable format, or have it transferred where technically feasible.
  • Objection — object to processing based on legitimate interests, and to direct marketing.
  • Opt out of targeted advertising and of any "sale" or "share" of personal information.
  • Withdraw consent at any time, without affecting processing already carried out lawfully.
  • Non-discrimination for exercising any of these rights.
  • Lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

To make a request, email info@viewpassion.com (or, for Cat vs Cucumber, catvscucumber@viewpassion.com). We may need to verify your identity, and we respond within the timeframe required by applicable law.

14Who this policy covers

15Acting as controller or processor

When we process end-user data on behalf of a client or publisher, that partner is the controller and we act as a processor under their instructions and our DPA. Personal data of business contacts, creators, and investors is processed under contract and legitimate interests for relationship management, reporting, and compliance, and is never sold.
